Bright colours

Picture this... Beautiful sunny days, crisp autumn air, amazing colours splashed over trees and ground, a roaring fireplace, wineries with glasses and bottles at the ready, breweries beckoning and a few great people to share it with...

Its Autumn here in Australia (I know that most of you reading already know this, but spare a thought for those overseas buddies who are heading into summer and missing out!) and the colours are exploding.  One of the best places to get that 'Autumn coziness' would have to be Bright.

Sitting snugly at the bottom of Victoria's best mountains, Bright played host to us this weekend and put on quite the show.  The mountain bike trails provided the warm up and work for the weekend before rewarding ourselves with a bit more of the good life.

Boyntons winery was as far as our bakery lunch could take us before we needed refueling.  Even with a glass or two of the local drop it took a while to get going again, and some time sitting in the sun was required (yep, a real disaster).

But everywhere you go in Bright there's work to do, there's leaves to pick up and clear away, bottles to empty, fires to stoke tasty treats to take care of and photo's to take.  So please don't think that it was all fun and games!

*Another great shot by GFR!
After all the hard work and chores are done, it's only right to finish it off with a cold beer... or two.  And with a brewery in the middle of town it would be rude not to!

So what are you waiting for? Get to Bright and have a look for yourself... and make sure you invite us too!
