Laverty's Lunch...(photo's and a few words)

The invitation was put out "do you guys want to come out the the bush and make sausages?"  Yep, we do.  So we did. 

The people flocked to down town Lucyvale (near Coryong) for the annual FSU weekend (I'll leave you to figuring out what FSU stands for) where our good friends were looking for an excuse to go hunting and bring us our dinner.

The clocks were wound back as we became hunter gatherers for the weekend, some were hunters, others gatherers and the rest were just happy to be the consumers!  Ducks and deer were hunted, herbs were gathered and occasionally a vegetable was even spotted!

With all the goods collected, the meat was divied up and the feast went into preparation mode, the mincer fired up and churned out sausages straight from the bush and garden.  They don't get much better than that i can tell you! 
The roast was herbed up and sent down to the fire to spin around for a few hours while we digested lunch and tried to figure out how we would fit more food in.

Good food, good people, and of course good times flowed through the weekend.  Plenty of questions about preparing our own food, forget about the supermarkets, this is heaps better!  Thanks to the laverty's for having a beautiful house for us to invade! I'll let the photos say the rest.
